I went to Shakey's last week for lunch with my mom. The staff was wonderful! They were so attentive and really went out of there way to serve us. I did inform the manager and thanked him for having such a wonderful staff. Thank you Shakey's in Escondido, keep up the good work! Rae :)

The food here is so good! We ordered a small pepperoni pizza with a side of their wings and their famous mojo potatoes. The pizza was hand tossed and it was pretty thick, but had good flavor. The potatoes were nice and crispy while still being soft inside and the wings were actually really good, small, but they had a lot of flavor and it was good quality chicken we got a side of cheese with the potatoes and a side of ranch and Buffalo sauce with the wings. If Ranch is something you care a lot about, their ranch here was very good, perfect flavor and thickness

I haven't been to a Shakey's since I was 5 years old. (Now 41) In Texas ours closed when I was that little. Noticed Shakey's still existed in California. While on vacation I was able to visit. This foood tastes exactly like I remember! Then it was only pizza, chicken and mojos. Omgosh, soooo good! Brought back so many childhood memories and reminding me how my parents took me there. Place is extremely clean and service was great! Wish we had one close to home.

Great family friendly spot! Brought my kiddos and had a great time playing games. Place is super clean and food was on point! Staff is super nice and even helped me when I dropped a whole tray of pizza on the floor! Thank you all!

We were really looking forward to visiting Shakey's while in California, as we used to have them in our home state but they've all closed. We were not disappointed, it was just as delicious as we remembered it to be! We enjoyed the lunch buffet, and were happy with the quality and taste of the food, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. Just wish we could have brought it all home with us.

I was so excited to have been able to eat at Shakey’s. I missed this restaurant from the Philippines. We had the all-you-can-eat bunch of lunch. Their chicken and mojo potatoes were the best! Still as delicious as I remembered. The pizza was okay, it was a bit dry though. Spaghetti tasted the same as I remembered. Staff were friendly, restaurant was clean and food was replenished immediately. Highly recommended.

Really good having a pizza buffet still around! Pizza is always hot and fresh and it keeps on coming! The garlic bread pizza is bomb!! We were helped by Rosie and she went above and beyond to make sure our food was fresh and even helped us order a customized pizza. If you're ever in, make sure to look for Rosie. She's always so helpful and such a breath of fresh air with how nice she is!
